Summer?? What's That?

I'm lucky to have a whole room at home dedicated to stockpiling my "To Do's" for school.
At the moment I have piles all over the place and I'm telling myself to tackle as much as I can while I'm still in "school mode". This is my 3rd day of summer vacation and here's what I accomplished today.

I organized all my game goodies for math and language. I added labels (from LadyBug Teacher Files) to these colorful tubs to help with organization and sorting.

The Before:

The After:

I'm afraid I need some more tubs now. I'm down to one leftover and I got them at Target months ago in the dollar section so I know they don't have them now. Shucks!

  2. Looks like you had a very productive day! The good news is, back to school supplies will be out in a few weeks! You just need to stalk Target and get more of the bins. I made friends with the lady behind the return counter, and every year she calls me to give me a heads up that the dollar bins are in. Plus, she puts aside whatever I need. They go all out for teachers at my Target.

  3. I ALWAYS buy those bins at Target when they get them in. AND I make my mom go to BOTH of the Targets by her house to look for them there, too.

Your organized games look fabulous. :D

  5. Wow! I'm very impressed. You are so smart to start working on school stuff now. I usually make the mistake of waiting until I'm in "summer mode" to get started and by then it's really hard to get motivated!

  7. My closest Target is over an hour away, so I hope I can make it to one in time for the Back to School stuff - usually by the time I get the heads up and get out to Target everything is picked over! Your organization is fabulous, this was my 1st day of summer vacation and I did nothing! I will use you as inspiration tomorrow though and try to get something done! By the way, totally jealous of your teacher-stuff-room!
