I'm lucky to have a whole room at home dedicated to stockpiling my "To Do's" for school.
At the moment I have piles all over the place and I'm telling myself to tackle as much as I can while I'm still in "school mode". This is my 3rd day of summer vacation and here's what I accomplished today.
I organized all my game goodies for math and language. I added labels (from LadyBug Teacher Files) to these colorful tubs to help with organization and sorting.
The Before:
The After:
I'm afraid I need some more tubs now. I'm down to one leftover and I got them at Target months ago in the dollar section so I know they don't have them now. Shucks!

oh so inspiring!!! I can't wait to dig into mine! Brilliant idea!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a very productive day! The good news is, back to school supplies will be out in a few weeks! You just need to stalk Target and get more of the bins. I made friends with the lady behind the return counter, and every year she calls me to give me a heads up that the dollar bins are in. Plus, she puts aside whatever I need. They go all out for teachers at my Target.

I ALWAYS buy those bins at Target when they get them in. AND I make my mom go to BOTH of the Targets by her house to look for them there, too.
ReplyDeleteYour organized games look fabulous. :D

ReplyDeleteWow! I'm very impressed. You are so smart to start working on school stuff now. I usually make the mistake of waiting until I'm in "summer mode" to get started and by then it's really hard to get motivated!

I want to buy those bins & get organized this summer. They are perfect! You are on a roll! Keep up the good work. :)

Learning Is Something to Treasure
My closest Target is over an hour away, so I hope I can make it to one in time for the Back to School stuff - usually by the time I get the heads up and get out to Target everything is picked over! Your organization is fabulous, this was my 1st day of summer vacation and I did nothing! I will use you as inspiration tomorrow though and try to get something done! By the way, totally jealous of your teacher-stuff-room!
