Equivalent Fraction Kites

Yikes, equivalent fractions can be a tricky concept to introduce to 3rd graders.
So, I did math art! This is my BEST selling resource in my TPT store! With the templates I provide student then decorate a design to model fraction equivalency.
It certainly helped my students solidify their understanding of equivalent fractions in a high flying fun way. Give it a try.

  7. I love the Kite idea, I have a mixed gang of kids a 7, and a 9th, but one 10th grader with Autism who I am trying to get up to date with the math skills, I think they would like this, It would be something to also be a focal point to hang up above their desk in the class as a award for the hard work. The ideas are wonderful. I would love any other ideas, we are getting to have FCAT on/ 4/16- and any suggestions or ideas, and prayers please, Thanks for sharing
