How is appreciation shown to you for Teacher Appreciation Week?
Let me share the special ways I was spoiled.
I always look forward to receiving these letters from past students.
My coworker has her class write letters to their last year's teacher to show appreciation.
I also adore my gift from a parent, a Brighton necklace.
Typically, at our school, teachers are showered throughout the week with lots of heartfelt notes, flowers, gift cards, and sweet treats. Our wonderful PTA also provides snacks and lunches every day of the week.

So cute! My school doesn't really do anything for Teacher Appreciation week. :( You just gave me a new idea to start! Love it! Thanks for sharing :)Julie

I may have to steal the letter idea! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet! My student teaching ended before May so I never had a chance to be appreciated... LOL! I guess I'll have to wait for next year!
ReplyDeleteAt my previous school, the 6th grade teachers had their students write "high fives" to a previous teachers, thanking them. Those were my favorite little notes. Knowing that after 5 years a kiddo still remembers and appreciates you is so awesome.
ReplyDeleteOur PTA is planning to providing breakfast, brunch and lunch for us on various days next week - I guess they moved teacher appreciation week at our school. :D
