My Second Sense
I want one of the ant farm packs for my classroom but I'm secretly afraid I'll accidentally knock it over one day and have a mountain of ants pour out all over my classroom. In my mind it's waaaaay more dramatic than it could ever be in real life! I think I'm going to take the plunge this year and just super glue the container to the table so I don't have anxiety attacks about it!

We never get to go on picnics (at least outdoors). My 17 year old is allergic to, well, everything environmental, so outdoor time is limited. We get to go the beach, sometimes, since the salt water is good for her skin. It's okay though, it is so hot here in Florida, I don't think I would survive a picnic!

ReplyDeleteMy worst ant story: my little niece came over the day we moved in to our new house. Next morning I get up and see an black line across the carpet. Put on my glasses and see a thick trail of ants from the front door to the middle of the living room...about 20 feet away! She had dropped a rice krispie treat. I thought we would have ants all the time, but once I got rid of those I have never had another ant!
